This article outlines some of the most common log files operators encounter in HySDS.

Verdi Log Files

The following logs are all found here: /export/home/hysdsops/verdi/log

  1. user_rules_job-##.log Description: logs job info for jobs that were submitted via trigger rules.

  2. system-jobs-queue-##.log Description: logs info for jobs that are run in the system-jobs-queue queue (these are typically the lightweight jobs).

  3. on_demand_dataset-##.log Description: logs info for jobs that were submitted via on-demand.

 

Mozart Log Files

The following log files are all found here: /export/home/hysdsops/mozart/log

  1. watchdog_job_timeouts.log Description: logs job start time and duration of jobs that are run longer than 300 seconds.

  2. orchestrator_jobs-##.log Description: logs orchestrator actions (i.e. task/job spin up).

  3. supervisord.log Description: logs process info and actions performed using supervisord.

  4. figaro.log Description: logs calls made to the Mozart API.

  5. flower.log Description: Celery logs.
