Actions may be performed on faceted resources.

Purge


The purge action will remove faceted resource/s from the system.


 How to Purge a Job
  1. Facet on resource/s to retry.
  2. Click the On-Demand button.
  3. Select the Purge Jobs action from the Action drop-down menu.



  4. Enter a tag. This is a human-readable string that may be used to facet on the retried resource/s.
  5. Change the queue if desired.
  6. Set the priority for the job – valid values are 0-9.
  7. Submit the job.

Revoke


The revoke action will revoke faceted resource/s that are queued or have started.


 How to Revoke a Job
  1. Facet on resource/s to retry.
  2. Click the On-Demand button.
  3. Select the Revoke/Stop Job action from the Action drop-down menu.



  4. Enter a tag. This is a human-readable string that may be used to facet on the retried resource/s.
  5. Change the queue if desired.
  6. Set the priority for the job – valid values are 0-9.
  7. Submit the job.

Retry


The retry action will retry faceted resources up to a user-specified number of times.


 How to Retry a Job
  1. Facet on resource/s to retry.
  2. Click the On-Demand button.
  3. Select the Retry Jobs/Tasks action from the Action drop-down menu.



  4. Enter a tag. This is a human-readable string that may be used to facet on the retried resource/s.
  5. Change the queue if desired.
  6. Set the priority for the job – valid values are 0-9.
  7. Specify the number of times to retry the selected resource/s.
  8. Submit the job.

Notify by Email


Notifies users of state changes of faceted resource/s by email.


 How to Set Job Email Notifications
  1. Facet on resource/s to retry.
  2. Click the On-Demand button.
  3. Select the Notify by Email action from the Action drop-down menu.



  4. Enter a tag. This is a human-readable string that may be used to facet on the retried resource/s.
  5. Change the queue if desired.
  6. Set the priority for the job – valid values are 0-9.
  7. Enter comma-separated emails to send notifications to.
  8. Submit job.
