Steps

Fork the target repository
Clone repo
- git clone “insert link”
Create a new branch
- git branch branchname
Checkout the branch
- git checkout branchname
Develop and test on local machine
Commit and Push local changes to Github branch
- git commit -am “insert commit message”
  git push
Open a pull request in Github
