HySDS jobs can be submitted for immediate processing using the “On-Demand” button (See #1 in image). After the operator selects the desired job facets on Facet Search page (called Tosca), HySDS generates the desired data product and makes it available for viewing and download.

Inside SWOT, the On-Demand process only works once an “Area of Interest” (AOI) has been established to ingest data into HySDS (see facet: #2 ).

On-Demand Options:

Tag - Operators can apply unique keyword tags (#3) to their jobs for future reference. This creates useful search parameters when locating jobs in the Resource Manager.

Condition - A sequential summary of an operator’s facets, in JSON format (#4) for that specific job. This information if populated automatically; no operator changes are necessary.

Action - Drop-down menu of available processing options (#5). This includes the algorithm’s name and version number. Version numbers are included in [square brackets]. Note: unless advised otherwise, operators should always choose the latest version.

Queue - The appropriate queue (#6) for the user selected Action is automatically set by HySDS. Generally, this should not be changed by operators.

Priority - Ranges 0 (low) to 9 (highest) priority. Unless advised by HySDS personnel, its recommended that operators do not adjust this setting (#7).

Finally, once the desired settings are selected, click the blue “Process Now” (#8) button to submit for processing.
