Shareable URL links of custom faceted search criteria can be created within HySDS Facet Search (Tosca) as well as the HySDS Resource Management console (Figaro). Links reflect each unique facet applied by an operator.

Note: There are certain types of faceting, eg time range, that isn’t represented in the shareable url

Create a link inside the Facet Search console (Tosca):

  1. Apply the desired facets inside Tosca via the facet options column (See #1 in image).

  2. After all facets are selected, click the arrow icon (#2) next to the “search term” text box.

  3. A box will display beneath the text box with a custom shareable URL (#3).

The individually selected facets are displayed in blue boxes beneath the URL window. In this example, the SWOT adaptation of HySDS is shown while faceting on the “SAT_COMM” dataset.

Create a shareable link inside the Resource Management console (Figaro):

  1. Apply the desired job facets via the left-hand menu column facets (#4).

  2. Click on the arrow icon (#5) next to the “search term” text box.

  3. Highlight and copy the customized URL link (#6) in the box beneath.

Note: The shareable links generated are only accessible within the JPL network or via VPN access.
